You’re in full on travel mode, you don’t have time to write do you?
You do have time to record your memories with this quick exercise in focusing your thoughts on the details of your day.
This is best completed at the end of the day or first thing the next morning so you don’t forget any details.
Remember though that travel journaling is about YOU! You write what you want to remember and in whatever format works.
If you want to spice things up with some emoji’s or stick figures in there, go for it!
It’s really simple:
- Itinerary (location / transportation)
- Bullet point Memories
That’s right! You’re all done now. This way, you remember the little details you didn’t take photos of.
Trust me, every time you re-read this part of your journal, those 3 minutes you set aside to write do wonders for your recollection abilities that photos aren’t able to do on their own.
